About the Android Text Message Generator
This tool lets you create a high-fidelity fake Google Messages screenshot on Android — the default SMS and RCS app on Pixel phones and most Android devices. It accurately replicates the Material You design system used by Google Messages, including the tonal color palette, bubble shapes, status bar, input bar, and navigation gesture bar.
RCS vs SMS — What's the difference?
RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the modern upgrade to SMS. When both parties use RCS-capable apps, messages are sent over the internet with read receipts, typing indicators, and higher-quality media. In Google Messages, RCS chats show "Chat" or "RCS message" in the input field. When RCS is unavailable, it falls back to SMS marked as "Text message."
How to use this tool
- Set the contact name, avatar color, and subtitle (number or "Active now").
- Choose RCS Chat or SMS mode.
- Add messages — toggle Sent / Received for each one.
- Set delivery status and optional emoji reaction on the last received message.
- Toggle dark phone mode and typing indicator as needed.
- Click Download Image for a high-res PNG.
